Development Officer

Full time: 35 hours per week

Salary: £23,676

The Development Officer will be part of a small and busy team, and will work across all giving schemes, including individual giving, trusts and foundations and events. Duties will include membership management, application writing, event organisation and the creation of development literature and research tasks.

The successful candidate will join us at an exciting and critical time as we develop and deliver our ambitious fundraising strategy for Chetham’s Foundation, embracing the School, The Stoller Hall, and the Library. We are looking for a driven and confident individual, with excellent interpersonal skills, who is as equally adept at working independently as they are within a team. You will need excellent organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills along with a creative outlook, and an eye for detail.

Marketing & Ticketing Administrator

The Stoller Hall

Full time position

Two year fixed term contract subject to annual performance appraisal, reviewable and extendable by negotiation.

£18,000 p.a.

Chetham’s School of Music, the UK’s largest specialist music school, seeks a Marketing & Ticketing Administrator to assist in all areas in the administration and promotion of public concerts and events at The Stoller Hall.

The Stoller Hall is a brand new venue which opened in April 2017. This 482 seat concert hall has a state-of-the-art acoustic and hosts a broad programme of classical, contemporary, jazz, folk and pop music as well as comedy, spoken word, conferences and events.

This role is ideal for those who are looking to be involved with an exciting new venue, delivering an outstanding customer and artist experience across a varied and constantly changing programme.

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Administrator will work closely with the General Manager and the Marketing Manager, to assist with the marketing and publicity of The Stoller Hall. S/he will then develop the ongoing marketing for all of the public concerts and events and will become the main point of contact for promoters, ensuring that events are put online and on sale to agreed deadlines. S/he will also take the lead on concert ticketing, providing regular Box Office services and using CRM and communications technology to continue developing audience relationships.
