Helen Francis

Helen Francis trained at the Birmingham School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music.

She has a very active life as a soloist and ensemble singer. Helen has travelled widely throughout Britain and Europe performing with choirs, orchestras and as an operatic and recital singer. Her extensive repertoire ranges over many styles and genres of vocal music. She has broadcast frequently on Radio 3 and Radio 4, currently as a member of the Daily Service Singers. Recent solo performances have included: Mozart Mass in C minor, Rossini Stabat Mater, Four Poems of St Theresa of Avila by Lennox Berkeley and Haydn’s Nelson Mass. Helen is a member of the Vocal Department at Chetham’s and also teaches singing privately. Helen is a vocal tutor for the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.
