Discover Chetham’s Lunchtime Concerts series

Escape your routine, take a late lunch and discover the musicians of the future with free music at our daily Lunchtime Concerts. Chetham’s students give concerts of outstanding quality in the Carole Nash Hall, varying from full-length solo recitals to sequences of shorter pieces by instrumentalists, vocalists or chamber ensembles.

In April, we welcome guests from St Andrew’s Cathedral School in Sydney, who will visit Chetham’s to meet young musicians from the other side of the world and to give a special lunchtime concert recital on Wednesday lunchtime.

Join these superb young Australian musicians and singers to enjoy a diverse programme for instruments from viola to didgeridoo!

The New School Building is fully accessible, but we regret that refreshments are not available at lunchtime events.

*We advise you to check the daily listings or call the school in advance to check that a concert is taking place to avoid disappointment. Telephone  0161 834 9644.
