This summer we are opening our doors for three new Open events, aimed at young musicians considering applications to Chetham’s in 2019 and beyond.
Each session lasts two hours, and is based around the interests of different age groups within the school.
You’re thinking of visiting our Sixth Form Open Evening, aimed at students considering applications for entry into Year 12.
Gather for refreshments in the Atrium alongside current staff and students, giving you chance to meet, mingle and ask questions.
Afterwards, the group will come together in the school’s magnificent concert hall for a presented session on music, academic and wellbeing options at Chetham’s, including A-level subjects, recent results and destinations of recent leavers, performance opportunities, support structures and boarding.
Designed to give you plenty of chance to get involved and find out what you need to about how a specialist music education can support your career goals, you’ll find out about the application process and life in Manchester – making sure you know what to expect from your free time around Manchester, as well as from school hours.
