Michelle set up Cause4 in 2009 – a social enterprise and B-Corporation supporting charities, corporations and individuals to develop fundraising and new business models. The company was voted one of the UK’s top 50 start ups in 2016 and 6th most philanthropic business in the UK in 2017.
After Chetham’s she gained a BMus from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, spent five years playing in orchestras, and then moved to the charity sector. She was Development Director of the LSO from 2005 until 2009.
