HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to provide a proactive, efficient, and effective HR service. This will include all employment-related administration, providing advice and HR support to management and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and ISI Regulations. The HR Manager is the first point of contact for all HR-related matters and will work closely with senior managers to provide HR support including policy, disciplinary/grievances, training & support and HR projects.

The successful candidate will be proactive, positive and passionate about making a difference. An eye for detail is vital. They will be self-sufficient and have experience of working within a stand-alone capacity.

The ideal candidate will come from an education background or a highly regulated background such as the legal sector. Knowledge of ISI regulations, DBS checks and safeguarding would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in some key projects such as ED&I, wellbeing & mental health so experience of leading on projects would also be advantageous.

Full time: Monday to Friday, normally 35 hours per week.

Salary: £34,7000

Teaching Assistant

We have a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant to support students in class, lead small intervention groups and be a Form Tutor. Resident House Assistant

Hours of work: 32 hours per week; three day or evening shifts during the week and one at weekends

Pay scale: £8.91 per hour (increasing to £11.23 at weekends in Victoria House)

We are looking for a new House Assistant to join the boarding pastoral team, assisting with the day-to-day care and boarding routines of the students, the role would be primarily in our House for our youngest students, but like all House Assistants you are to be willing and able to work in any of the others. The role is residential and single accommodation is available in a shared flat; you will receive free term-time accommodation for the duration of your contract. You will be entitled to the provision of all meals during term time.

We are looking for time-served, fully qualified and experienced Maintenance Mechanical Pipe Fitter/Plumbers.

Experience of ventilation systems would be desirable.

Candidates will be qualified to City and Guilds 6192-02 as a minimum, and have served a recognised trade apprenticeship in the disciplines required. Gas Safe registration would be desirable but not essential as the School can provide training.
