Medical Centre Carer (temporary)

Until the end of the current Covid-19 pandemic (one academic year initially)

3 nights per week, 20:45 to 07:45 on a rota basis, Term Time only, 33 hours per week

Start Date: immediate (subject to all recruitment checks)

This is a new role for the School due to the challenges posed by Coronavirus and will be in place initially for one academic year.

The overnight carer will be able to offer first aid, both physical and mental, a listening ear and supervision for students who are unwell in the Medical Centre.    The carer will need to be professional when speaking to students, staff and parents and keep the Medical Centre clean, tidy and hygienic.

The successful applicant will sleep in and be on call during the night as necessary and will have some experience of caring responsibilities with young or vulnerable people.  You will be calm, approachable, kind, trustworthy, thoughtful and be able to put students, staff and parents at ease.

REGISTERED NURSE – Maternity Leave Contract

Term Time plus one week, 19 hours per week, On a rota basis

Scale Point 29, £17.50 per hour

Start Date: January 2021 (subject to all recruitment checks)

A vacancy has arisen for a School Nurse on a maternity leave contract to cover 19 hours per week on a rota basis.  Additional shifts may also be available to cover absences, so flexibility is an important part of this role.  Suitably experienced candidates are required to be responsible for the provision of the health care needs and pastoral care of the Students.

Technical Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Manager to join our team.

The Stoller Hall is a 482 seat concert hall with state-of-the-art acoustics, hosting a broad programme of classical, contemporary, jazz, folk and pop music as well as conferences and events.

Domestic Assistant (Evenings)

Hours of work – 17:00 to 20:30, Monday to Friday, 17.5 hours per week

Pay Scale: £8.72 per hour

Full time — 37.5 hours per week, with additional rostered and un-rostered overtime
Salary — £24,507 pa

We are looking for time-served, fully qualified and experienced Maintenance Mechanical Pipe Fitter/Plumbers.

Experience of ventilation systems would be desirable.

Candidates will be qualified to City and Guilds 6192-02 as a minimum, and have served a recognised trade apprenticeship in the disciplines required. Gas Safe registration would be desirable but not essential as the School can provide training.
