Chetham’s Flute Festival & Competition

A Celebration of the Art of the Flute

Chetham’s First Flute Festival and Competition was two days of workshops, classes, lessons and performances for flautists of all ages, with a competition for young players.

Fourteen Chetham’s flautists and 29 external players joined our team of renowned guest players and teachers. They immersed themselves in the art of the flute with two days of classes, workshops and competition. The competition was judged by a panel of independent experts who were delighted to select some very talented winners. Prizes included opportunities to perform with Chetham’s ensembles in the afternoon’s concerts.
