HOW TO APPLY

We recommend applying by December for entry the following September.

Step 1: The Advice Audition

In Person: Please get in touch to arrange an in person advice audition. Fill out this form or email admissions@chethams.com.

Remote: If you are unable to visit in person, you can send us YouTube links to video recordings of at least 2 pieces on your principal study instrument, as well as scales/arpeggios that reflect the level of repertoire presented. We ask that you begin the video/s with a short, spoken introduction of yourself and the pieces you are going to present.

Step 2: The Main Audition

Successful candidates will be invited to a formal audition. Our team will assist you with the necessary documentation and the full application form at this stage.

FEES & SUPPORT

Advice audition: £60
Full application: £150
Financial support: If those fees are a barrier, please let us know – we are committed to helping talented young musicians regardless of background.
