Booking tickets

Tickets for all Chetham’s events (with the exception of some offsite performances) are sold through The Stoller Hall Box Office.

Tickets may be purchased online, in person or by telephone. Payment may be made by Visa or Mastercard, or in cash.

Book Online

Visit our What’s On pages to book online. For events in The Stoller Hall you can view a seating plan and select your own seats when booking. For events in the Carole Nash Hall and Baronial Hall, seating is unallocated.
For most events, you may choose to print tickets at home, collect them at the Box Office, or have them posted to you for an additional fee of £2 per order.

The Box Office is located in the Oglesby Atrium, accessible via The Stoller Hall entrance on Hunts Bank.

Booking Fees

Booking fees are charged on all events across Chetham’s.

50p for tickets costing from 1p to £8
£1 for tickets costing £8.01 to £17
£2 for tickets costing £17.01 and upwards

Fees will be included in all prices listed online or in print.

When you book, you will have the option of adding a voluntary contribution to Chetham’s. Any contribution you choose to make helps to support The Stoller Hall, Chetham’s School of Music and Chetham’s Library with capital and operational costs.

Concessions

Concessions for full time students, audiences under the age 19 and those over the age of 65 are available on most Chetham’s School of Music events. Many other concerts at The Stoller Hall have a student ticket price option.

Booking fees apply to all concessionary tickets.

For concerts with multiple seating prices, spaces for wheelchair users will always be priced at the lowest of these prices.  Wheelchair users and other access customers may request one additional seat for an essential companion free of charge. Find out more on our Access page.

Series discounts

Occasionally, a special series of events may attract a discount for audiences members choosing to attend a number of events within that series; for example, a discount of 20% when you book four or more tickets.  Any such discount will be made clear in our listings.

If you are booking online, add each of the events you wish to attend to your basket and the discount will be applied automatically.  Tickets must be for different events, and must be purchased in the same transaction, for the discount to apply.

Group and School discounts

The maximum number of tickets you may purchase online for most concerts is 8. If you wish to purchase more tickets, please call us or visit us in person.

As a specialist music school, we are particularly eager to welcome children and young people to appropriate concerts The Stoller Hall and other Chetham’s venues.  If you would like to enquire about tickets for schools or youth groups, particularly for concerts at which Chetham’s students are performing, we would be delighted to work with you to offer both discounted tickets (subject to availability) and to support your students with a pre-concert welcome or talk.  You may also be interested in visiting our Outreach pages to view upcoming projects and opportunities for schools and families.
