Online KS2 Workshops

Chetham’s online KS2 workshops are back!

Our workshops are a great way to get your whole class involved in making and enjoying music together. We’re very pleased that we will be offering these FREE whole class online workshops in the Autumn and Spring terms on Wednesday afternoons, 1.30 – 2.30pm. Sign up is FREE and the workshops are delivered via Zoom.

WHAT’S IN THE WORKSHOPS?

Designed for KS2 classes, workshops are delivered by our amazing Creative Artists who are experienced teachers and musicians, and include opportunities for:

  • Listening, including live music from Creative Artists and a Chetham’s student
  • Singing, in warm up and throughout the session as a key learning tool
  • Composing, including creating new sounds as a class, or writing songs together
  • Interactive learning through quizzes
  • Learning about musical instruments, styles and ideas
  • Moving, including dancing/movement and using our bodies to make music!

There is no limit to the number of classes/children that can sign up to these sessions. The more the merrier! So please feel free to spread the word.
