Dandylion and the Sad Stem – Sunday 24 April, 11am & 12pm
Come and join Dandylion as he helps a sad flower stem to find its lost petals scattered in the earth’s fields and meadows. Led by storyteller Carla Henry, this interactive workshop with live music and illustrator, will open a world of imagination through music, drawing and spoken word.
Follow-up event, 1.30pm: Observe Olympias Music Foundation’s young musicians join the Northern Chamber Orchestra professionals in this relaxed open rehearsal. Duration 30 mins.
Snowbear’s Story – Saturday 7 May, 10.30am & 11.30am
Come along and help shy Snowbear find a way to tell his story! See his voice dance colours through the Air. If stories were sounds and had colour, what sounds and colours would your stories reveal? Join in with our artists as they explore the wonderful ‘Air’ element of nature – through story, song and illustration. Part of Manchester Song Festival.
Follow-up event, 1pm: RNCM Songsters Lunchtime Concert.
The Little Green Dragon – Sunday 22 May, 1pm & 2pm
Can you help Little Dragon, scared to breathe fire, find his courage and his treasure? What is the sound of fire, and of courage? Come along and join our artists on this interactive adventure with special guests Espíritu Flamenco. It is sure to be a toe-tapping and magical experience. Part of Manchester Guitar Festival.
This is a pay what you decide event and your donation will help support our future family events. Tickets can be booked for children only and accompanying adults do not require a ticket. Due to space limitations at the workshop, a maximum of one adult per child is permitted. All follow-up event tickets are included in the Stoller Story Sounds session ticket.
