Chetham’s Summer School
Chetham’s School of Music will open its doors again for a spectacular summer school on Sunday 28 July – 3 August 2024
Suitable for singers, pianists and players of orchestral instruments at Grades 4 and above, age 11-17 (vocalists age 14-17).

Enjoy world-class facilities, learn from some of the best music tutors in the world and play with other young musicians who may become friends-for-life!
Immerse yourself in music on our orchestral and piano course:
– Suitable for musicians aged 11-17
– Play piano or an orchestral instrument
– Working at grade 4+
Sing your heart out on our vocal course:
– Suitable for musicians aged 14-17
– Confident singing solo and can read music notation
– Working at grade 4+
Each day will be fun and action packed – with instrument workshops and personalised guidance. Experience singing, musicianship and ensemble music playing, with performance opportunities on a professional concert hall stage.
After the music stops each evening, stay in our purpose built boarding facilities, with plenty of fun activities, games and shared experiences with Chetham’s caring team of staff. Non-residential places are also available.
