Sports and Activity Coach

We are looking for an inspiring and reliable Sports Coach/Fitness Instructor with experience of working with children and young people to provide fitness instruction and sports activities to students aged 8 – 18 years

The job

  • The position is a 1 year fixed term role. Up to 20 hours per week during term time, with  evening and some weekend work.
  • Organising extra-curricular activities and lessons which address the needs and interests of our children and young people, including devising a range of games and activities which encourage the students to have fun, whilst maintaining a level of fitness, promoting wellbeing and co-ordinating of trips and excursions which enrich student experience.

In return

  •  Hourly rate £20.57 (Scale Point 31).
  •  Benefits including free catered lunches during term time, on site gym and free tickets to  concerts.

Teacher of Geography

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher who can come and join our team of staff and students.

The Job

  • You will need to be an outstanding teacher of geography, inspirational, innovative and a team player with strengths across the range of geographical disciplines. You will need to be able to teach from Key Stage 3 to A Level and will receive the support and training that will allow you to succeed in this role and develop your professional skills. We welcome applications from candidates eager to contribute to the wider life of the school and the department through involvement in residential fieldtrips and extra-curricular activities.
  • The post is 0.6 full-time equivalent with 12 hours of classroom teaching. In addition, you will also be expected to participate pro rata in activities such as a termly School duty and attend CPD training events throughout the school year
  • Start date September 2024 (subject to relevant checks)
