Hear directly from some of the most exciting young musicians in the UK, the future of the music industry, including students at Chetham’s School of Music.

12.45 – 1.30pm: LUNCH

1.30 – 2.30pm:

A Creative Approach to Ensemble Development: hosted by award winning tuba player and educator, Ryan Breen

During this session, we will be looking at aspects of musicianship and development that we are broadly familiar with, but with a fresh perspective, to achieve a range of practical outcomes and understanding. In real time, we will explore what the possibilities and implications can be, if aspects of NLP, Dalcroze, Somatics and improvisation among other methods are explored within the music, during an ensemble rehearsal.
