Since their launch in 2019, Manchester Baroque has built a reputation for engaging and vibrant performances of historical music on period instruments. Baroque Reborn is Manchester Baroque’s Post-Pandemic Relaunch Season: A series of concerts that aim to reunite, reinvigorate and recapture the spirit of Manchester, as we emerge together from the pandemic. ‘Family Reunited: Godfather, Father, Son’ is the launch concert of Baroque Reborn, celebrating togetherness and featuring uplifting music by three of the greatest composers of the eighteenth century – J.S. Bach, his son C.P.E. Bach, and C.P.E Bach’s godfather G.P. Telemann.
