Image Manchester Baroque – Baroque Reborn – Live Stream

Since their launch in 2019, Manchester Baroque has built a reputation for engaging and vibrant performances of historical music on period instruments. Through concerts of chamber music, larger scale orchestral works and oratorios, Manchester Baroque are committed to the continued development of historically informed performances at the centre of the city’s arts culture: Reflecting Manchester’s rich heritage as the world’s original modern city…

This concert forms part of Manchester Baroque’s Post-Pandemic Relaunch Season: A series of concerts that aim to reunite, reinvigorate and recapture the spirit of Manchester, as we emerge together from the pandemic. Baroque Reborn is a concert of colourful Baroque Concertos featuring Manchester Baroque’s dynamic soloists. Join us as we explore Baroque masterpieces by J.S. Bach, Quantz and Handel, and celebrate together the genius of Albinoni in his anniversary year.

Manchester Baroque extends particular welcome to participants from the Baroque study-day held at Chetham’s School of Music on the 7th May.
