David Hill
Chetham's Brass Ensemble

“What an extraordinary contribution to our nation’s musical life he has made!” The Telegraph

As a choirmaster, conductor, composer and organist, David Hill is renowned for his fine musicianship and his distinguished achievement across the sector. The holder of prestigious posts including Music Director of the Bach Choir and Associate Guest Conductor of Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, he returns to the place where it all began – Chetham’s School of Music and Manchester Cathedral – where he launched his musical training in earnest.

David is joined by outstanding young brass players from Chetham’s as he performs for the first time on the magnificent Stoller Organ in neighbouring Manchester Cathedral.
