We are shocked and saddened by the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and have committed to supporting young, displaced musicians through our Chetham’s Ukrainian Bursary Fund, providing bursary support for music students from Ukraine to continue their musical education here at Chetham’s School of Music.
Please help us to ensure we can offer talented young musicians who have been forced to flee their homes the chance to access a world-class education and achieve their full musical potential.
Thanks to the generosity of one of our long-standing supporters, The LHR Charitable Foundation, from now until the end of August we can match £1 for £1 every donation made to the Ukrainian Bursary Fund to unlock £20,000 of additional funding.
Chetham’s School of Music is the largest specialist music school in the UK and welcomes students aged between 8 – 18 based purely on musical potential, never the ability to pay. Almost 90% of our students receive some sort of financial support helping to ensure the future of classical music and provide equal opportunities for gifted young musicians.
Our match funding campaign runs until 31 August 2022 and during this time, any gift made using the donate link below will be doubled up to a total of £20,000. Alternatively, if you would prefer not to make your donation online, please contact the Development team at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0161 838 7202.
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can add an extra 25% to your matched donation by opting into Gift Aid to make an even bigger impact. To do this, please follow the link to our Gift Aid declaration form or make a declaration over the phone by calling us on 0161 838 7202 or emailing email@example.com.
