Chetham’s Big Bands and jazz ensembles have performed with artists including Gwilym Simcock, Mike Lovatt and Iain Ballamy, while alumni of the school have gone onto award-winning careers as jazz musicians.
Tonight’s programme includes music by Herbie Hancock, Freddie Hubbard and Joe Zawinul.
