‘Passion, precision, warmth, a gold blend: these are the trademarks of this excellent Israeli string quartet’ – New York Times

The Jerusalem Quartet is an Israeli string quartet, which made its debut in 1996. Their performance repertoire includes works of Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms and Dmitri Shostakovich.

They have toured extensively worldwide and three of their recordings have won BBC Music Magazine Awards. In 2016 they celebrated their 20th season by releasing an album of Beethoven’s six string quartets Op.18. Regular guests on the world’s great concert stages The Jerusalem Quartet have performed in cities such as New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington, London and Zürich.

With music from their latest recording, the Quartet’s programme will provide a memorable evening including Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No.4, Beethoven’s Op.18 and Tchaikovsky’s First String Quartet.
