Join us for an exclusive after hours self-guided tour through the medieval stone passages, secret staircases and richly panelled rooms of Chetham’s Library.
After the Library has closed to the public and the dust of the day has settled, we will be opening rooms and passageways that are normally closed to the public, for a unique and magical experience.
In celebration of LGBT+ History Month, we will be displaying some of the Library’s favourite LGBTQIA works from the collection.
Tickets are available for two entry times (5.30pm and 6pm) to stagger arrivals. Our 5.30pm tour is now sold out, and spaces are still available for the 6pm tour.
Suitable for adults and young people over 14.
Please note that due to the nature of the building, lighting will be low in some areas. For accessibility information, please see our Visitor Information page.
