The International Piano Series concludes with a competition for outstanding young musicians from across the world. With a final extended over two nights, six outstanding young pianists will each perform a complete concerto alongside Manchester Camerata for a jury made up of experienced concert pianists. Join them to hear masterpieces of piano repertoire, performed by the next generation of players over two evenings of music, and see if you can pick out the overall winner.

As the jury deliberate on Monday evening, we welcome Eric Lu to perform Mozart Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major, K488. Eric Lu won First Prize at The Leeds International Piano Competition in September 2018.

“Lu seems already to possess something of the magic tough of early Leeds laureates Murray Perahia and Radu Lupu, and is surely one of the most exciting prospects in a long time. A veritable poet of the keyboard.” The Guardian
