Chetham’s Woodwind Academy Day
Across Chetham's and The Stoller HallA free, one-day event for young woodwind players, aged 9 – 17 (from grade 3 upwards). Come and join us...
Chetham’s online workshops are back again! We have delivered these FREE interactive online workshops for a couple of years now and they have been a great way to get your whole class involved in making and enjoying music together. This year the 6 workshops will straddle either side of the October half term on Tuesdays mornings 9.30 – 10.30am. Sign up is free and the workshops are delivered via Zoom.
Perfect for main stream and SEND KS2 classes, workshops are based on a theme or idea linked to curriculum with music weaving its way through the whole session as way of learning and reflecting on what we’ve learned. Our amazing Creative Team are now experts in engaging classes through live quizzes, teaching songs and actions, composing new songs with the children and answering their questions. The sessions also involve students from Chetham’s School of Music who demonstrate their instruments and interact with the children too.
There is no limit to the number of classes/children that can sign up to these sessions. The more the merrier!
Teacher feedback from recent sessions:

Loads of positive feedback from all the children. Thank you so much for offering this.
My class thoroughly enjoyed it.

Join us to celebrate Divali, the Hindu Festival of Light through colourful compositions and songs from different cultures.
