Image Tenebrae – Music of the Spheres

Described as ‘phenomenal’ (The Times) and ‘devastatingly beautiful’ (Gramophone), award-winning choir Tenebrae is one of the world’s leading vocal ensembles, renowned for its passion and precision.

Taken from the choir’s Grammy-nominated album ‘Music of the Spheres’ (Signum Classics), this programme of part-songs features music by choral favourites such as Vaughan Williams and Stanford, alongside exquisite contemporary works by Eric Whitacre and Judith Bingham. The programme concludes with Bob Chilcott’s humorous and jubilant setting of poems by Walt Whitman, The Modern Man I Sing.

Please note: Due to social distancing the number of available seats has been greatly reduced from the usual capacity, so you are advised to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you back. Your safety is our biggest priority and we’ve made some changes around the venue to keep you safe. Here’s what to expect from your visit.
