Chetham’s School of Music is proud to partner with the Royal Northern College of Music to launch an exclusive new Orchestral Pathway for talented young musicians from China.
As two of the world’s leading specialist music institutions, Chetham’s and the RNCM are offering an unrivalled opportunity for Chinese orchestral students aged 10 to 17 to begin their musical journey in Manchester, the UK’s most vibrant and culturally diverse city.
This Orchestral Pathway is a unique programme that allows students to begin their studies at Chetham’s, the UK’s largest specialist music school for students under 18. They can then audition for a prestigious Progression Scholarship to study at the internationally acclaimed RNCM, ranked among the top five conservatoires in the world for music.
Key highlights of the Orchestral Pathway include:
- A world-class music education in Manchester, the UK’s most innovative and dynamic city.
- A place at Chetham’s School of Music, where students receive exceptional training, alongside performance, development, and mentoring opportunities from the RNCM’s renowned faculty and industry partners.
