Chetham’s Graduates: Submissions open for The Neil Vint Bursary

Former students are invited to apply for the Neil Vint Bursary fund for young musicians.

Neil Vint, a student at Chetham’s from 1984 – 1988, died tragically in 1994.

In his memory, his parents have established a bursary fund to help young musicians as they begin their professional career.

  • The bursary of £1,000 is available to former students of Chetham’s aged between 20 and 26.
  • Preference will be given to students who have recently left music college or university.
  • One award will be made annually by Chetham’s from the Neil Vint Bursary Fund.

The deadline for written applications is Tuesday 30 June 2020.

Applications should be emailed to Lesley Haslam on lesleyhaslam@chethams.com.

Applicants should include details of their education and professional career, and state why they would find the bursary useful.
